Gimme Five

With the holidays rapidly approaching, I thought it best to give an update on the hillarious progress of our little one, Jonah. I say hillarious, because everyday brings new achievements that cause us to throw our heads back in laughter at our little fella. Who needs tv when you can get just as much enterainment from a 9 month old? Jonah is now crawling all over the place and has just started sleeping through the night. He prefers to eat "real" food as opposed to baby food and makes his preference known. He will often watch us eat with such anticipation that we expect him to say, "pass the dang potatoes". He practicaly falls over laughing when he sees his daddy making funny faces and gets so excited when I sing the itsy bitsy spider. His biggest accomplishment thus far has to be his ability to give a high five to anybody who wants one. Oh, the joy!

We've had a really wonderful summer. We had a lot of beach time and made sure that little Jonah adopts the river rat mentality of his parents. Unfortunately, we are horrible at taking pictures so please forgive the lack of photo-documentation. Jonah now has 2 teeth and is very noisy. His favorite words are dada and dede. He recently started eating solid foods and has a huge appetite. Sweet potatoes are his favorite and green beans not so much.
